Jeff Abt lives with his wife and family in Nacogdoches where for the last twenty years he

has been a professional horticulturalist, landscape designer, garden and travel columnist,

as well as a speaker and lecturer. Through his writing and speaking, he began taking an interest in

photography. Jeff can now be found traveling around the world, visiting famous gardens with his

camera in hand, adding photography to his list of credentials. Photographing sporting events and

photojournalism have come along as a total change of pace.

A photographer in a similar way creates images; but in his case, he captures what is already there
